Mr. Marty Hall, President and Head Instructor:

Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Marty recalls the highlight of his early days in baseball was pitching for the 1983 National Junior Baseball Championship team. His goal, however, was to play professional ball, so he left Victoria to play in college. Playing at Centrailia College in Centrailia, Washington, and then at Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona, he was subsequently drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 1985. He pitched in Rookie Ball in the Pioneer League with the Pocatello Gems in Idaho. He quickly graduated to Single A and was sent to Madison, Wisconsin to play with the Madison Muskies in the Mid-West League. The Houston Astros signed Marty in 1987 and assigned him to their Ashville Tourists affilliate in North Carolina. In the South Atlantic League, Marty excelled and was called up to Double AA and sent to Columbus Astros in Georgia. He finished his professional pitching career with Columbus in the Southern League, thus fulfilling his boyhood dream of playing baseball at the professional level.

Marty is currently on the Advisory Team with Worldwide Baseball Prospects alongside other professionals in his field, a sports consultant to The Independent Academies of Canada www.independentacademies.com , and a Specialist-Instructor at the www.BigLeagueExperience.com
